Medical and Hygienic Application
In this field of application very often one side siliconcoated materials are used that are coated with adhesives in a transfer process. This means: an adhesive is applied on the siliconecoated side, dried and then laminated against another material that itself is equipped with an adhesive that can contain agent like some adhesive wound-plasters or transdermal plasters. In the field of hygienic application one side siliconecoated material is used as a cover up for partially applied adhesive. – e.g. as a protective paper in incontinence- or sanitary towels.
