More and more "Composites" – being mechanical stable and lighter than aluminium – are used in this range of application e.g. in parts of the tail unit as well as in the inside furnishing. Double side siliconcoated papers are used in a preliminary stage of the production process of this material and are called "prepregs": One side of the siliconpaper is coated with a special resin in which different fibres are inserted, then dried and wound to reels. This process is carried out repeatedly. Those prepregs will later be connected by pressure and temperature in several layers by special calculation. Those created forms will then be processed mechanically.
